Letters Guide

These are the locations of all the letters found in WWI. You must deliver them to a mailbox in the real world (found all over). They are all required for the Completionist achievement. Click on the number to view the collectible, click the other links to view pictures of the location. Yes, some of the pictures are very dark, nothing I can do about that. You should be able to find them based on the descriptions, the pictures are more of a visual reference if you're having troubles.
Chapter 2 - Trenches
#13 - Follow the trenches until you reach the exit with two soldiers. Face forward (towards the two soldiers) and you should see a tree (see Image 2). Go towards the tree, and over the hill you'll see some broken down wall and a bunker across the chasm where a soldier will be shooting at you (see Image 3). Shoot him and go to the right side of the broken wall and you'll see some wood over a hatch (see Image 4). Shoot hit and climb down. The letter is beside the corpse in the small room.
#14 - This letter is basically in a broken house on top of the trenches you just exited. From the trench exit, look to your right and you'll see a structure that is over the trenches. Follow the trench past this first structure (see Image 2) and you'll see another structure (see Image 3). You can enter the building from the left side of the trench (go past the razor wire) or from the right side of the trench. If you go to the right side (see Image 4) of the trench/structure, you'll see it clearly in the open on the floor in the corner.
#63 - Right at the foot of Pestilence. Creeping Dark to get to it, or just run quickly.
#38 - After you use a Kamikaze Darkling to blow up the wall of the bunker (see Image 2), follow the bunker left until you reach the edge of the cliff. On the side of the bunker (see Image 3) you'll see an opening (see Image 4). The letter is on top of the opening, Creeping Dark your way over there to get it.
Chapter 2 - Tunnel To Village
#15 - To the left of the soldier playing the harmonica when you first enter.
Chapter 2 - Village
#66 - After you exit the tunnel, turn to the right and turn around. It's in the shack (see Image 2) with a soldier standing in front of it at the end of the walkway.
#16 - In the corner (see Image 2) of the bulding (see Image 3) between the church (3 soldiers talking around a fire) and the bridge to Famine, can’t miss it.
#65 - There's a ladder (see Image 2) you can climb down near the bridge that leads to The Hills. Climb down and it's right in your face, well, at your feet (see Image 3).
Chapter 2 - Sewer To Hills
#87 - Look to your left as soon as you enter the room. There's a ledge (above the bell you need to move). Creeping Dark over to it, the letter is in the far back corner.
Chapter 2 - Hills
#79 - After you exit the sewer area, follow the path straight until the cement walls stop and you reach the 'end'. Turn right 90 degrees and walk forward, you'll see a house in the distance (see Image 2). You should come to the dilapidated building. The letter is inside the chimney (see Image 3).
#80 - When you reach the 'end' (as above) just before the Hill, turn left and you'll see a trench (see Image 2). It's in the ground in the middle of the trench, can't miss it.
Chapter 2 - Catacombs
#28 - After Anthony sends you into the catacombs, move forward under the first arch and look left, it's in the floor.
Chapter 2 - Sewers
#17 - In the first room (with the sealed door), go up the stairs until you reach the top. At the top of the stairs, turn right. There will be a ledge (see Image 2) below you with the letter on it, use Creeping Dark to get it.
#67 - After you drain the water, go through the previously sealed door. You'll see a 3 way intersection of tunnels, go down the left tunnel. It's to your left in this room.
Chapter 2 - German Bunker / Cannon
#18 - In the room before you go outside, it's on the other side of the stairs. Go to the top of the stairs and turn around, sort of behind the stairs. It's in the corner of the room.
#27 - As you exit the above room, go to the large gate past the cannon. It's on the right side of the tracks in front of the gate (see Image 3).
#68 - Once inside the train, go through the first door on the right. The letter is under the middle of the catwalk straight ahead, use Creeping Dark to get it (see Image 3).
#26 - When you reach the top of the cannon, face the opposite direction the barrel is pointing. Use Creeping Dark to go under the barrel (the area looks like a half pipe) and go up on top of the right ledge. Climb up two more small ledges to find the letter.
You have now picked up every single letter in Chapter 2. The next section deals with Chapter 4, which is the next time you will be in WWI.
Chapter 4 - Cannon
#76 - After you climb down the ladder from the cannon, the letter is located under the catwalk (see Image 2) behind you. Crouch down to get it.
#77 - Head to the front of the train until you're in front of the wooden bridge. Look to your left, it's right there on the ground beside the green light (see Image 2).
#78 - Now go the way you're supposed to - behind the train and down the cliff. Walk along this path and you'll reach a door to a bunker with 4 enemies guarding it. You'll notice a sewer grate to your right, the letter is right inside there. Creeping Dark into the grate to get it. Alternatively, you can wait until you're inside the bunker and grab it then, you'll see it right when you go down the ladder in the sewer to the right, can't miss it.
Chapter 4 - Village
#64 - You walk right over this one to exit the sewer into the village. If you miss this one, there's no hope for you.
Chapter 4 - Castle
#83 - After the ride in the tank and you kill the ugly monster, it's in the room to the left (see Image 2).
#31 - In the room with the cannon shell. Go up the stairs onto the catwalk and turn right, it's at the end of the catwalk (far opposite end of where you pull the lever).
Chapter 4 - Cannon / Castle Hall
#32 - After the rollercoaster ride on the back of a giant cannon shell and you use said cannon shell to blow apart the castle gates, it's on your right hand side near the end of the bridge, beside the last green light.
#33 - Go through the doors you just blew up and go to the left archway (see Image 2). It's in there in pitch black.
#84 - In the room where you fight The Darkness, it's behind a grated door on the left side (left side if you're facing The Darkness). You can grab it when you first walk in and it's directly in front of you. Just walk up to the grate and hit A.
Note: If you die during the fight, be sure you pick this letter up once you respawn.
Total Chapter 2 Letters: 18

Total Letters: 27
That's it! If you followed this guide to the T, you should have picked up all 27 letters. If you haven't done so by now, go find a mailbox and send them off.

Chapter 2 - Trenches

#63 - Right at the foot of Pestilence. Creeping Dark to get to it, or just run quickly.

#78 - Now go the way you're supposed to - behind the train and down the cliff. Walk along this path and you'll reach a door to a bunker with 4 enemies guarding it. Chapter 4 - Village
