Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points Exterminator: Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the fifth mission. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points ------------------------------------ Hints and Tips for finishing missions ------------------------------------ For this guide, there is also some help required, so that's why I am providing some handy hints and tips while playing the Meta-games. Keep in mind that you can earn extra points by multi-kills with a minimum of 3, aiming for the head, melee/assassination and vehicle/assist kills. Also, destroying enemy vehicles with the driver still on it are more points than just killing the enemy. Keep those in the back of your head and you will almost do not need the Skulls activated on Normal difficulty... ------------------------------------ The Skulls and their Point Multipliers ------------------------------------ Here's a list of all the skulls, their effects of it and their alloted point multiplier for each skull that is activated: Iron > 3x Black Eye > 1.5x Tough Luck > 1.5x Catch > 1.5x Fog > 1.5x Famine > 2x Thunderstorm > 1.5x Tilt > 2x Mythic > 2x ---------------------------------- Timing and Skull recommendations ---------------------------------- I will go through this for every level done, with the best results and tips + hints. All missions I did were done on Normal and are achieved easily. The recommended skulls to switch between are: Fog, Catch, Tough Luck, Mythic and Thunderstorm. Best to keep them activated are: Fog, Catch and Tough Luck. It's up to you to choose if you either put on Thunderstorm or Mythic, otherwise, you can turn them both on :) Here's a table of all times with their multipliers next to it, under it, I will provide the best tactics with the suitable skulls activated for each level. Sierra 117: 0-14:59 > 3x 15-19:59 > 2.5x 20-24:59 > 2x 25-29:59 > 1.5x For this mission, it isn't really necessary to activate any skulls. This is because the level is quickly done Solo, and if you are a skilled player, you'll easily pop headshots out of them too. If you are in need of any Skulls, I would suggest Catch and Mythic. *************************************************************** Crow's Nest: 0-19:59 > 3x 20-24:59 > 2.5x 25-34:59 > 2x 35-39:59 > 1.5x Same goes for this mission, not really necessary to activate the Skulls, but if you need them, the recommended Skulls are Catch, Mythic and Tough Luck. *************************************************************** Tsavo Highway: 0-14:59 > 3x 15-19:59 > 2.5x 20-24:59 > 2x 25-29:59 > 1.5x Although this mission can be done within 15 min, I needed my time and used Tough Luck, Fog and Thunderstorm. *************************************************************** The Storm: 0-14:59 > 3x 15-19:59 > 2.5x 20-24:59 > 2x 25-29:59 > 1.5x Also an easy mission, just use Fog and Catch and you'll run through it in no time. *************************************************************** Floodgate: 0-9:59 > 3x 10-14:59 > 2.5x 15-19:59 > 2x 20-24:59 > 1.5x Easily done, just turn on Catch for sure, but watch out for friendly grenades! They'll throw loads of more grenades as well, and friendly fire hurts! *************************************************************** The Ark: 0-19:59 > 3x 20-29:59 > 2.5x 30-39:59 > 2x 40-49:59 > 1.5x This mission will most likely take longer than 20 minutes, so the recommended Skulls are Tough Luck, Catch, Mythic, since you will need them for the 50.000 points. Road kills are good for your points too, especially when you get more than 3 to kill with your vehicle. *************************************************************** The Covenant: 0-19:59 > 3x 20-29:59 > 2.5x 30-29:59 > 2x 40-49:59 > 1.5x The same problem occurs on this mission too that you will need to take your time. (And your points.) So, take it easy and use your ammo and grenades wisely! Skull recommendations for this mission are Tough Luck, Catch and Thunderstorm. *************************************************************** Cortana: 0-14:59 > 3x 15-19:59 > 2.5x 20-24:59 > 2x 25-29:59 > 1.5x This was a nasty mission for me. Best bet: Catch, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm. Tip: When you encounter any Energy Swords, take them! it'll make killing much faster! As a secondary weapon, try to keep rifles and exploding ammo. *************************************************************** Halo: 0-14:59 > 3x 15-19:59 > 2.5x 20-24:59 > 2x 25-29:59 > 1.5x Road kills are important when you're near the end of this mission. The Arbiter will provide some covering fire though, which gives you points back in return, but try to drive over the flood for extra points, except for those exploding bubbas. The recommended skulls for this mission would be, Tough Luck, Fog and Mythic.
