Alpha Launch - 10 points Launch from level one in single player Refuelled. - Simply start the game and complete the first level. Easy (although failing to do this, then you might as well go back to Geometry Wars). 2. Squid Port Pacifist - 10 points Complete level three in single player Refuelled without using lasers or EMP's. - This one should be easy, just keep using your jetpac and get the 6 fuel packs. The squids hardly spawn until you're nearing the end of fuelling your ship. You can die and still get the achievement. 3. Power Hungry - 10 points Upgrade your laser to full capacity in single player Refuelled. - Get 8 Weapon Upgrades in a single level (should be do able on the first level before the timer runs out). It should go something like this: * Straight (Starting Weapon) * Straight and Up * Three Way --- * Straight * Straight and Up * Three Way --- * Straight * Straight and Up * Three Way - Achievement Unlocked If you die, then you go back to the beginning, if you complete a level then you go back to the Straight laser from the current block you were in. 4. Score More - 10 points Score 250,000 points in single player Refuelled. - If you have difficulty doing this normally, then play the first four levels till the timelimit almost expires and just keep killing things - you can get about 75k score per level at the beginning by killing and collecting items until the timer runs out (then either progress before the timer runs out or let it run out which'll restart the level). 5. Survival - 20 points Starting from level one, reach level ten without dying in single player Refuelled. - Difficult one this, couple of tips, don't rush things (i.e. don't take stupid risks) and if you look like you're in a troubling position - use the nukes! Level 7 is perhaps the hardest but you can go from one side of the map to the next and confuse the enemy worm things to give yourself a bit more time. However by that stage your weapon should have been fully upgraded - keep the three way laser as it's easier to aim! 6. Retro Cyclist - 20 points Complete all 16 levels in Retro. - The second most difficult achievement in this game in my view (11 being the hardest). Retro has the problem of no checkpoints, no invulnerability time, no nukes and a huge hitbox for yourself and a normal laser. The hardest levels are level 5 and level 13 - they have UFOs which seem to follow you relentlessly. The tip for the game which I can only give is stay on the ledge in the top right (in the middle) and fire lasers to your left (with the odd one to your right) and fly out only when safe to do so - once you've done that pick up the fuel (or ship part) put it on there and go back immediately. You can try flying across the screen but be careful, the enemy usually spawns at the left hand edge of the screen. Once you've completed Level 16, you go back to the start. 7. Robo Rocket - 20 points Build Robo Rocket in single player Refuelled. - Simply play Level 13 and build the ship on that level. 8. Half Mill Man - 20 points Score 500,000 points playing multi player Refuelled over Xbox Live. - Probably best done with a friend as quite a lot of people quit and there aren't that many people playing. Just start up a match with a 20 minute timelimit and get your friend to kill things while you build your ship and drop fuel off. Once you've finished help him or her out. In total a 20 minute match should net about 2 million score between yourselves. 9. Millionaire Man - 30 points Score 1,000,000 points in single player Refuelled. - Various ways of getting this, so here are a few suggestions: I got this by starting at Level 29 and playing through to Level 44, Level 29-33 are quite hard but you should be able to get weapon upgrades and 500k score from these levels. Level 33+ has a lot of enemies which just go from left to right (and right to left), so if you have a laser which shoots three ways, it should be easy. I managed to get 2.5million score by doing this and staying till the timer almost ran out. Other suggestion (from TheBigBB) include playing Level 25, getting the three way laser power up and moving across the screen in one direction killing things - I've not tried this myself - depends on what you fancy but that method does look easier than mine. 10. Been through your Milky Way - 20 points Play level 44 in single player Refuelled. - Just keep playing - there are checkpoints at every 5th level (When you have to build another ship) so you can easily restart from that level with a nuke and several lives. 11. You can stop now! - 30 points Complete all 128 levels in single player Refuelled. - Once you get to level 64, you get a free theme (note: if it doesn't download, then delete the game and re-download it - it was a bug and now is sorted) and gamer pictures. That's half of the way there. Most of the later levels are just enemies spawning everywhere. Try and have a nuke handy when starting a level and using it if there are excessive amounts of enemies. I only completed level 125-128 by having weapon drops in my favour, try and get the three way laser and keep it for the duration of that level and it's possibly the only way of doing it. Extra Lives come at 20k, 50k, 100k, 200k, 400k, 800k (etc) and given the excessive number of enemies, you should be able to get extra lives if you can hang on. 12. Infection - 0 points Play with another infected player on Xbox LIVE. - This achievement is one the developers initally got and then it spreads around when people keep playing each other - difficult to get when the game was first released but I managed to get it from someone on ntsc-uk forums.
