-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Orange Box Achievement Guide Written by AlmasOmegaChild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- Introduction ---------------- Type: Achievement Guide Game: Half-Life 2: The Orange Box System: Xbox 360 Contact: omegametroid28@msn.com --------------------------- Table of Contents --------------------------- The Game The Achievements Contact Legal ---------------- The Game ---------------- The Orange Box is the best deal in gaming history. It not only includes the entire Half-Life 2 Trilogy, but also introduces the new puzzle-game Portal, along with the sequel to the first class-based multiplayer game ever, Team Fortress 2. There is also a ground breaking 99 Achievements in this game. -------------------------- The Achievements -------------------------- There are 99 Achievements total, a record amount. Many of them are quite easy, and are only worth 5G. Some may give you a problem though, and it may just be confusing at times. Hope this guide helps, and I wish you all good luck! NOTE: I’m breaking up the Achievements into separate classes for the 5 games. I will note if the Achievement can be unlocked in more than one game, and the order they’re in is from the games pause menu, which lists them in the order you should get them, or close. If it’s not even close, I will move it to a better location. I just don’t want you to pass up an Achievement chance. =============== Defiant =============== Requirement: Hit the Metro Cop with the can. Strategy: When the cop knocks over a can after you leave Barney, hit X to pick it up, then RT to throw it at the cop. To get “Submissive” save first, then hit the cop, then reload the save. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ================== Submissive *SECRET* ================== Requirement: Put the can in the trash. Strategy: When the cop knocks over a can after you leave Barney, hit X to pick it up, then X over the garbage to put it in the can. To get “Defiant” save first, then put the can in the trash, then reload the save. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ================= Malcontent *SECRET* ================= Requirement: Escape the Apartment block raid. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Lambda Locater =============== Requirement: Find all Lambda Caches in Half-Life 2. Strategy: Pretty difficult without a guide, there are 45 of these things. Whenever you see a Lambda symbol, search around the area for supplies. If you find them, then the game will tell you how many Lambdas you found. There are conventional guides if you need help, so happy hunting! Gamerscore Reward: 15 Points =============== What cat? =============== Requirement: Break the Mini-Teleporter in Kleiner’s lab. Strategy: After your first Lambda, Alyx will open a secret door to Kleiner’s lab. Look to your left, and keep piling books, the cactus, and small things on it. Make it keep teleporting these things around until it breaks. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Trusty Hardware =============== Requirement: Get the Crowbar. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Barnacle Bowling =============== Requirement: Kill 5 Barnacles with one barrel. Strategy: In “Route Canal” you will eventually be in a sewer with a slippery floor. You’ll come to a slippery slope here, with two barrels on your left and about 9 Barnacle tongues at the bottom of the slope. Pick up an explosive barrel with X, then drop it on the slope. When a Barnacle grabs it and begins to pull it up, shoot the barrel twice with the Pistol. It should take out for than 5. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Anchors Aweigh! =============== Requirement: Get the Airboat. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Heavy Weapons =============== Requirement: Get the Airboats mounted gun. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Revenge! =============== Requirement: Destroy the Hunter Chopper in Half-Life 2. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Vorticough =============== Requirement: Discover the hidden singing Vorticough in Water Hazard. Strategy: After getting “Revenge!” you’ll open a gate for the Airboat. Straight ahead, there’ll be an open vent. Climb up into the vent and sprint to the opening due to the toxic floor. There’s the Vortigaunt. Gamerscore Reward: 13 Points =============== Zero-Point Energy =============== Requirement: Get the Gravity Gun in Black Mesa East. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Blast From The Past =============== Requirement: Find the HEV Charger Faceplate in Eli’s scrap yard. Strategy: The Faceplate is on the ledge where Alyx tells you to grab Barrels from. Stack barrels and boxes up to the ledge, and hold LT near the faceplate to pick it up with the Gravity Gun. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Two Points =============== Requirement: Use the Gravity Gun to make a basket with DOG’s ball. Strategy: When DOG brings out his ball, use the Gravity Gun to shoot it into the hoop above Alyx. Gamerscore Reward: 2 Points =============== Bone Breaker =============== Requirement: Kill 30 enemies with objects thrown from the Gravity Gun. Strategy: So easy if you also go for “Zombie Chopper”. Use the saw blades and gas tanks to slice and blow up Zombies with great ease, and switch to furniture when those run dry. This can be done in Half-Life 2, Episode 1, and Episode 2, but is easier in Half-Life 2. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ====================== Hallowed Ground *SECRET* ======================= Requirement: Safely escort Gregori through the cemetery. Strategy: If you need help in the walkthrough, there are conventional guides. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Zombie Chopper =============== Requirement: Play through Ravenholm using only the Gravity Gun. Strategy: Easy, except for the Alien-looking Zombies. Using blades, explosives, and furniture, you should easily get through Ravenholm, just as long as you do more running than fighting. Gamerscore Reward: 25 Points =============== Counter-Sniper =============== Requirement: Kill all Snipers in City 17. Strategy: After exiting Ravenholm, you’ll see some blue lasers moving about. These are snipers. Once you find the windows they are in, toss a grenade into it to kill them. You’ll have two after Ravenholm, then another 4 in Follow Freeman. Kill all 6 to get the Achievement. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Hot PotatOwned =============== Requirement: Kill a Combine soldier with his own grenade. Strategy: The earliest Combines start tossing grenades is by the Crane. Pick it up with the Gravity Gun, and then throw it back at the Combine for the kill. This can be done in any of the games from the Half-Life trilogy. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== OSHA Violation =============== Requirement: Kill 3 enemies with the crane. Strategy: On the crane, three Combine come from a garage. Either hit them with the shipping crates or the magnet. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Targeted Advertising =============== Requirement: Pin a Combine to a billboard in Highway 17. Strategy: Right before a barrier to stop your car from advancing, there is a overturned gas truck and some broken down cars on the road. Up a hill to the right is a Crossbow. Hit LT to zoom in, then hit the Combine on the billboard to pin him to it. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ================================ Where Cubbage Fears to Tread *SECRET* ================================ Requirement: Defend Little Odessa from the gunship attack. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== One Man Army =============== Requirement: Destroy 6 Gunships in Half-Life 2. Strategy: Not that bad, just shoot down every Gunship you see with Rockets, there’s usually an ammo box with Rockets near every Gunship encounter. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Keep off the Sand! =============== Requirement: Don’t touch the sand on the Antlion beach in Sandtraps. Strategy: Main key here is to SAVE OFTEN! If you even touch the sand slightly, even if not arousing the Antlions, you won’t get the Achievement. Save every time you get to a certain rock or area you pick out without touching the sand, and you should get this less painfully then I did. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points =============== Bug Hunt =============== Requirement: Use Antlions to kill 50 enemies. Strategy: Not hard at all, after you get the Pherapods throw them at all the Combine you see from there on out. You should rack of kills quickly if you disable the Repellers. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Hack Attack! =============== Requirement: Kill 5 enemies with Manhacks. Strategy: When you see Manhacks, suck them in with the Gravity Gun, and then shoot them at enemies to kill them. This can be done in any game from the Trilogy. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Flushed =============== Requirement: Kill an enemy with a toilet. Strategy: Rather odd Achievement, but easy nonetheless. In Nova Prospekt there should be a toilet in once of the cells. Pull it out with the Gravity Gun, and kill an enemy with it. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Warden Freeman =============== Requirement: Survive the second Turret standoff in Nova Prospekt. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Plaza Defender =============== Requirement: Survive the generator Plaza standoff in AntiCitizen One. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Think Fast! =============== Requirement: Kill an Elite soldier with its own Energy Ball. Strategy: When you see an Elite Combine, (dressed all in white) stand back and wait for it to shoot an Energy Ball at you. Grab it with the Gravity Gun and send it back at him for the kill. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Follow Freeman =============== Requirement: Gain command of a squad of rebels in the uprising. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional guides. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Deadly Harvest =============== Requirement: Kill an enemy by planting a Hopper mine. Strategy: When you see a Hopper, use the Gravity Gun to pick it up. Place it in front of an enemy, and watch them die. This can be done in any Half-Life game, but is easiest in Episode 2 when fighting off Antlions with Griggs and Sheckly. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ==================== Radiation Levels Detected ==================== Requirement: Get through the toxic tunnels under City 17. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional guides. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Conservationist =============== Requirement: Kill 5 enemies with one Energy Ball. Strategy: I did this in Follow Freeman when the Combine lock you in a room with Barney then cut through the door to get you. Save here, kill no enemies, and when the door opens wait until they enter the room, then let ‘em have it! (Energy Ball is LT when you have the Plasma Rifle equipped.) If you fail, reload the save. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Fight The Power =============== Requirement: Shut down the Suppression device by disabling the generators. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Giant Killer =============== Requirement: Survive the rooftop Strider battle in the ruins of City 17. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Atomizer =============== Requirement: Kill 15 Combine in by throwing them into a ball field. Strategy: After getting the high-powered Gravity Gun, you’ll be able to pick up Combine with it. When you see a pillar of light with glowing energy balls moving through it, pick up as many Combine as you can and throw them into it. Do this 15 times. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points ======================== Singularity Collapse *SECRET* ======================== Requirement: Destroy the Citadels reactor core. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 25 Points HALF-LIFE 2: EPISODE 1 =============== Watch Your Head! =============== Requirement: Make it to the bottom of the Citadels main elevator shaft in one piece. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Containment =============== Requirement: Contain the Citadel core. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Pacifist =============== Requirement: Contain the Citadel core without killing any Stalkers. Strategy: This Achievement only starts up after you ride the elevator down. When the Stalkers aren’t looking, quickly shoot both Energy Balls into the sockets, and then Sprint across the bridge. Do it again for the next bridge, and all of the sockets must be powered up to align them with the core. Luckily, Stalkers are slow, so good timing is all you need, Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== The One Free Bullet =============== Requirement: Play through Episode 1 firing exactly 1 bullet. Grenade, Rocket, Crowbar, and Gravity Gun kills are okay! Strategy: Not nearly as hard as you might think. Your 1 bullet will be to let Alyx into the room where you first get the Pistol and Shotgun. Then switch to the Gravity Gun, and use it the entire game. You’ll only need to use the Gravity Gun, Rockets (For the Gunship, and the Strider in the Train Yards), and maybe grenades. Just get used to not switching to normal weapons, and remember Episode 1 is short. This gave me no problems, and it shouldn’t be that difficult for anyone. Gamerscore Reward: 40 Points =============== Car Crusher =============== Requirement: Use the cars to squash 15 Antlions in Episode 1. Strategy: When you first see an Antlion spawning hole in the garage, use the Gravity Gun to make the cars roll on every Antlion that comes out. Once you get 15, plug up the hole with the car. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Grave Robber =============== Requirement: Steal a Zombies grenade. Strategy: When you see a Zombine pull out a Grenade, suck it out of his hand with the Gravity Gun. This can also be done in Episode 2. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Zombie-que =============== Requirement: Use flares to light 15 Zombies on fire. Strategy: Not too hard. In the tunnels, pick up flares then run them into Zombies to set them on fire. There are a lot of flares and an infinite supply of Zombies when waiting for the elevator, so get as many as possible down there. If you mess up, there are more flares and Zombies at the Hospital. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Elevator Action =============== Requirement: Survive long enough to get on the Parking Garage elevator. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Live Bait =============== Requirement: Help Alyx snipe 30 enemies in Episode 1. Strategy: When Alyx shoots down the ladder for you, lure out all of the Zombies into the middle of the street. Have Alyx kill them all, then have her kill all of the Antlions on the next block until she gets 30. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Attica! =============== Requirement: Destroy the Gunship in the Hospital attic. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Citizen Escort =============== Requirement: Don’t let any citizens die when escorting them to the trains. Strategy: Simple. When escorting the citizens, rush them into the safety of the Train Yard first, have the Medic patch everybody up. This next part is hard while going for One Free Bullet. Kill all of the Combine, and then take the path to Alyx, and the escape trains. Make sure no citizens die, if they do just reload a save. Gamerscore Reward: 15 Points =============== Escape From City 17 =============== Requirement: Escape from City 17. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points HALF-LIFE 2: EPISODE 2 =============== Little Rocket Man =============== Requirement: Send the Garden Gnome into space. Strategy: A huge pain in the ass. When you first enter the communications center where you first speak to Eli and Kleiner, there will be a Garden Gnome under some wood. Time to drag him with you until you reach White Forest Base. Take him with you everywhere, but there are some places you can leave him behind and get him later. The first is with Alyx when the Vort is healing her when you go to get the extract. The other is in the Garage with your car when you take out the Autogun. Stick him with you in the car as you ride, and be sure you don’t leave him behind when he slides out. In White Forest, when Eli, Kleiner, Magnison, and Alyx are all in the room with the rocket, go up the small metal stairs and put the Gnome in the hatch. Hit X to close the hatch, and you’ll get it. Gamerscore Reward: 30 Points =============== Get Some Grub =============== Requirement: Squish every Antlion Grub in Episode 2. Strategy: Another difficult one. There are 333 Antlion Grubs. You must check everywhere for them, walls, ceilings, floors, and especially in Web Caches. As long as you look everywhere and check all Web Caches, you should get all 333 easily. There are 2 hidden ones, 1 is in a Locker (hit X to open the Locker) in the same room as the first 2-3 Acid Antlions you see. The other is the last one; found behind a barricade the Guardian rams right after you get off the elevator with Alyx and the Vortigaunt. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points =============== Acid Reflex =============== Requirement: Kill one Acid Antlion. Strategy: Easy, just kill the first Acid Antlion you see. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Pińata Party =============== Requirement: Find and break every Web Cache. Strategy: There are 9 Caches, 1 in To The White Forest, the other 8 in This Vortal Coil. Check everywhere for them like you would for Grubs, walls, floors, ceilings, underwater, etc. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Into The Breach =============== Requirement: Help Griggs and Sheckley hold off the Antlion invasion. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Twofer *SECRET* =============== Requirement: Defeat both Antlion Guardians outside the White Forest. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Hit and Run =============== Requirement: Kill 20 enemies with the car in Episode 2. Strategy: Not too hard, just mow down all the enemies you see. If you’re going for Little Rocket Man, you can wait until you have to fight the Striders outside the silo. Then, you can run down all the Hunters hoping you can get 20. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Payback =============== Requirement: Kill a Hunter with its own Flechettes. Strategy: When the Hunters attack you and Alyx, pick up a barrel with the Gravity Gun and hold it in front of you. When a Hunter shoots the barrel, send it flying back at the Hunter for the kill. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points ======================== Meet The Hunters *SECRET* ======================== Requirement: Survive the Hunter ambush with Alyx. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Puttin’ On A Clinic =============== Requirement: Destroy the Hunter Chopper in Episode 2 without any misses. Strategy: Basically, never miss when hurling bombs at the Chopper. Save, then pick up and throw. If you hit it, save again and repeat. If you miss, revert back to old save and try again. Gamerscore Reward: 15 Points ==================== Gunishment! *SECRET* ==================== Requirement: Destroy the Autogun in the scrapyard. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Cache Checker =============== Requirement: Find every radar cache. Strategy: Simple as can be. The cars dash tells you where the caches are, and they aren’t well hidden. There are 5 in total. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points ===================== Gordon Propelled Rocket ===================== Requirement: Find the second radar Cache. Strategy: Not hard at all. When you find the second Cache, pull down the metal flap with the Gravity Gun. Second, use LT to toss a Grenade under the flap. Jump onto the flap and let it push you up to the top floor. Now release the lock to the second cache. Must be done to get Cache Checker. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points ============================ Quiet Mountain Getaway *SECRET* ============================ Requirement: Survive the attack on the White Forest Inn. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Pedal To The Metal =============== Requirement: Beat DOG in the race to the White Forest base. Strategy: Very easy, just get to the base ahead of DOG, which you should do if you don’t crash. Near impossible if you’re going for Little Rocket Man. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =========================== Secondary Silo Secured *SECRET* ============================ Requirement: Secure the doors on the Secondary Silo. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Neighborhood Watch =============== Requirement: Save all buildings outside the Missile Silo from destruction. Strategy: One of the hardest Orange Box Achievements. Let the first Strider come to you, then meet the second one where it spawns for the kill. That nullifies the immediate dangers, so just keep meeting the Striders where they spawn, and hope you’re quick enough to take out the faster ones first, before they can get a building. Gamerscore Reward: 35 Points ============================== Defense Of The Armament *SECRET* ============================== Requirement: Save the Missile Silo from Combine destruction. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional guides. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points PORTAL =============== Lab Rat =============== Requirement: Acquire the fully powered Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Terminal Velocity =============== Requirement: Fall 30,000 feet. Strategy: Once you get both Portals, shoot an Orange directly above you, and a Blue directly below you. Keep falling until you get the Achievement. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Friendly Fire =============== Requirement: Knock down a Turret with another Turret. Strategy: Easy. Make a Portal above one turret, and make another Portal below another Turret, and watch them hit each other. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Fratricide =============== Requirement: Do whatever it takes to survive… Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Camera Shy =============== Requirement: Detach Security Cameras from the wall. Strategy: There are 33 Cameras on the walls. Make an open Portal behind it to knock it down. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Long Jump =============== Requirement: Jump 300 feet. Strategy: “I did this in Chamber 19. You come into this absolutely massive room, and all over the walls are open doors, each holding a turret. After you take them all out, shoot a portal on one of the angled little flaps above one of the highest doors, and the other portal beneath you. As you’re hitting the ground use another portal to fling yourself across the room. Keep flinging yourself like this, because like Terminal Velocity, the 300 ft. is accumulative, so after maybe 5 or 6 jumps, you’ll unlock it as long as you don’t land on the ground.” Thanks to FLO The Snucka for clearing this one up, this is the best method. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Partygoer =============== Requirement: Make the correct part escort submission position decision. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Heartbreaker =============== Requirement: Complete Portal. Strategy: If you need help in the campaign, there are conventional walkthroughs. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Cupcake =============== Requirement: Beat 2 Portal Advanced Maps. Strategy: See “Vanilla Crazy Cake”. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Fruitcake =============== Requirement: Beat 4 Portal Advanced Maps. Strategy: See “Vanilla Crazy Cake”. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points =============== Vanilla Crazy Cake =============== Requirement: Beat all 6 Portal Advanced Maps. Strategy: After you beat Portal, you unlock the Advanced Maps and Challenges. The Advanced Levels are harder versions of Levels 13-18. If you get stuck there are some great YouTube videos, or you can go straight to the source at: http://www.portalwalkthroughs.com Gamerscore Reward: 30 Points =============== Basic Science =============== Requirement: Earn Bronze Medals on all Portal Challenges. Strategy: See “Aperture Science”. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Rocket Science =============== Requirement: Earn Silver Medals on all Portal Challenges. Strategy: See “Aperture Science”. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points =============== Aperture Science =============== Requirement: Earn Gold medals on all Portal Challenges. Strategy: Probably the hardest Achievements in The Orange Box. There are 18 grueling Portal Challenges, the normal levels 13-18 but all must be done with a certain number of steps, portals, and time. Gold is basically the bare minimum of steps you can take, Portals, you can use, and time you can take. I would highly recommend you to seek help from the pros at: http://www.portalwlkthroughs.com because many of the Youtube videos are done on the PC, where this is easier. Gamerscore Reward: 40 Points TEAM FORTRESS 2 =============== Grey Matter =============== Requirement: Get 25 Headshots as Sniper. Strategy: Very easy. Just play as sniper and keep racking up Headshots while on Defense. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Flamethrower =============== Requirement: Set 5 enemies on fire in 30 seconds. Strategy: Play as Pyro, stand near the enemy spawn, and then try to glitch your way inside, setting flame to everyone you see. You should get 5 in no time. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Head Of The Class =============== Requirement: Play a complete round as every class. Strategy: Pretty self-explanatory, just play a round as all 9 classes. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== World Traveler =============== Requirement: Play a complete game on every map. Strategy: Easy because there are very few maps. You’ll get this going for the Offense/Defense Achievements. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Hard To Kill =============== Requirement: Get 5 kills in a row without dying. Strategy: Stand near an enemy spawn as either a Pyro, Heavy, or set up a Sentry as Engineer. If you have a Medic healing you while you wait for the enemies that helps too. Just kill them as they come out. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Nemesis =============== Requirement: Get 5 Revenge kills. Strategy: A Revenge Kill by killing a Nemesis. You make a Nemesis by having someone kill you 4 times in a row without you killing them. Get Revenge 5 times for the Achievement. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Turret =============== Requirement: Get 10 kills with 1 Turret. Strategy: As an engineer, set up a Turret in a place where it’s hard to destroy, but a lot of enemies come through. Stick by the Turret to upgrade, heal, or un-sap it. You can’t let the Turret die, or else it resets. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Master of Disguise =============== Requirement: Trick an opposing Medic into healing you. Strategy: If the other team has Medics, play as a Spy and disguise as a Heavy or Soldier. Run up to the Medic and keep clicking your RS. If the Medic is unaware of your guise, he’ll heal you. Gamerscore Reward: 15 Points =============== Team Doctor =============== Requirement: Get 25,000 Heal Points as Medic. Strategy: Continually heal a Heavy or Soldier that is injured to crank up your Heal Points. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Dynasty =============== Requirement: Win 20 games. Strategy: Self-explanatory and very easy. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =================== With Friends Like These ==================== Requirement: Play in a game with 7 or more people from your friends list. Strategy: Either set this up with a ton of friends, or just send FR’s to everybody in the game lobby. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Hardcore =============== Requirement: Accumulate 1000 total kills. Strategy: Just takes time and a good strategy, nothing more. Gamerscore Reward: 15 Points NOTE: The following Achievements can all be done in System Link by yourself, if you want to get them in that way. =============== Powerhouse Offense =============== Requirement: Win 2Fort with a Shutout. Strategy: A good Scout or Spy can easily run 3 Intelligences before the other team can run 1. Gamerscore Reward: 5 Points =============== Lighting Offense =============== Requirement: Win Well in 5 minutes or less. Strategy: Scouts FTW again. A good team of Scouts, or even 1 Scout, can rush right through enemy lines for a flawless victory. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points ================ Impenetrable Defense ================ Requirement: Defend Dustbowl without giving up a capture. Strategy: Heavies, Demomen, or Engineers can defend Dustbowl very well. Gamerscore Reward: 10 Points =============== Relentless Offense =============== Requirement: Win Hydro without giving up a capture. Strategy: Again, a few Scouts can take the cap points before a Sentry can be built or mines can be laid. Gamerscore Reward: 20 Points =============== Impossible Defense =============== Requirement: Successfully defend Gravel Pit without giving up a capture. Strategy: A tricky one. The cap points are so far apart, you need a well-organized team to not let the enemy break through at either A or B. Gamerscore Reward: 30 Points There you have it. 99 Achievements, 1,000 points.
